The seller listed and sold a “1-year plan” which was actually a monthly-renewing plan for 12 months. Despite the buyer asking twice, the seller confirmed it was a full-year plan, which was misleading.
They also claimed to have products they didn’t actually have and initially quoted a higher price than listed, later editing the listing when questioned.
Although a refund was issued, this doesn’t fully clear the seller of responsibility.
As a result, a 1-month DWC will be applied to seller profile, and they must clearly state in their thread that the “1-year plan” renews monthly over 12 months.
Repeated behavior of this kind may result in a permanent ban.
