OPSEC means hiding everything that can link you to your actions. A VPN is just the start. It’s enough for streaming but nowhere near enough for refunding or cracking.
This guide covers essential tools like browsers, encryption, emails, and RDPs. Each explained simply so you can build the protection level you need.

Right so in this guide two OPSEC setups are included:
BASIC
[ Hidden Content! ]
  • Encrypted Hard Drive
  • VPN
  • Privacy Browser

ADVANCED
[ Hidden Content! ]
  • Encrypted Hard Drive
  • VPN
  • VMWARE
  • Privacy Browser
  • Proxy
  • RDP
Basic is fine if you're just doing refunds every once in a while. If you're smashing them out or doing riskier online stuff, don’t be dumb, use the full setup.
More layers means more safety.
[ Hidden Content! ]
Encrypted PC
An encrypted system not only applies a boot password it also encrypts your data making it impossible (even for law enforcement) to access.
Every system of mine is encrypted and would highly suggest you do to!
Recommended Programs:
  • VeraCrypt: This software is known to be FBI proof, I would not risk being backdoored just use this one.
VPN
We all know every website logs your IP, and that's all they need to track you down. So you need a VPN that doesn’t keep logs.

Recommended Programs:
  • ProtonVPN: Free!
  • Mullvad: Allows payment with Crypto
Whilst doing anything illegal online always keep the kill switch on!

VMware / RDP
To ensure you  never accidently expose yourself I suggest keeping your real PC completely separate from cracking/refunding.
Now most cannot afford a second system so heres some programs.

Recommended Software:
  • VMware: creates a virtual PC inside your own. Harder to set up but safer.
  • RDP: runs on a remote server. Easier to use but costs about 10€/month, lots of good options on C.sh marketplace.
I personally like VMware as I know no one is stalking what I'm doing...

Browsers
If you're still using Chrome or Safari, you're already leaking info. Switch to Firefox, it's free, private, and actually lets you control what’s tracked.

Add-ons you should run:
  • uBlock Origin: kills trackers and ads
  • ClearURLs: strips tracking from links
  • LocalCDN: replaces external scripts locally
  • CanvasBlocker: stops browser fingerprintin
For more complicated illegal crimes (not refunding) use Tor Browser. It's slower but built for staying hidden.
Private Email Providers
Use encrypted mail only. No logs, no IDs, no recovery. If it links back to you, you're already burned.

Recommended Providers:
  • ProtonMail: Free, No ID Needed, Encrypted
Password Manager
As seen with the raid forums owner being caught, passwords can link back to who a person is.
Use an encrypted password manager to ensure every password is different and only you can access them.

Recommended Programs:
  • Bitwarden: free, cloud-based, syncs across devices.
  • KeePassXC: offline only, local storage, no mobile, auto-fills passwords.
Encrypted Instant Messages
I'm not sure why anyone on here still uses discord to run there businesses there tracing you!

Recommended Programs:
  • Telegram: Encrypted chats, use secret chats only, popular for secure messaging.
  • Keybase: End-to-end encryption, great for chat and file sharing, solid privacy.
  • Signal: Top-tier encryption, open-source, simple and trusted for secure calls and messages.
Virtual Phone
There’s tons of SMS providers, but most only give you a one-time use number. Here I list some that sell phone numbers for longer periods. You can grab them completely anonymous and use them to verify accounts on sites that force you to add a number.

Recommended Companies:
  • Xootf: Gives you a number you can keep forever. All incoming texts show up in a simple inbox.
  • DTMF: The same as Xootf, except DTMF is a registered company, so if things go legal, they’re forced to hand over your info. Use at your own risk.

Final Tip
Keep you're mouth shut don’t don’t spill your business to anyone IRL. No bragging, no telling your girl, no chatting with your “best friend.” The less people know, the safer you stay. If you must talk, keep it in person and only about low-risk stuff like refunding. Don’t use WhatsApp, calls, or any regular apps. If the cops bust your friend and find your messages, you’re both screwed. Use real secure apps only. And finally don’t trust anyone online with your phone number or personal info. If they get raided and cops find your chats, your door’s next. Always keep your online identity completely separate from your real one.

If you want a full guide on setting everything up, drop a comment and let me know. I’ll put one together. Cheers for reading.
